Dominican merenguero Kinito Méndez has reworked his popular song  Cachamba in what he calls “COVID-19 style” and renamed it Con Mascarilla.

Méndez explained that his children urged him to come up with a song to entertain people during these difficult times. In the video that resulted, you’ll see the artist’s family singing along with him.

The lyrics are fun and a good reminder at a time when we really should all be wearing masks while in public. So, repeat after me:

Hay un loco pidiéndole a Dios que sane a la gente que están infectadas, todos en cuarentena, quedándose en casa, por esta pandemia que la trajo el COVID con una Corona que hace mucho mal.
