My name is Dena Burroughs and I’m the webmistress of VidaSalsera.com, a page dedicated to Salsa music and other tropical rhythms. After 35 years in Los Angeles, CA, I’m now based in Mobile, AL. As I keep an eye on Salsa in LA, I plan to look out for Salsa events in the Golf South (the coast of Luisiana, MS, AL, and FL).

During this time of transition, I am pleased to present you with this website’s continued goals:

1. To inform you of the latest news regarding tropical music and its artists;
2. To list any free concerts and dance events;
