BAILANDO CONTIGO is the latest work by Manny Cruz, and it was released today on all digital platforms. The album contains nine songs – seven to the beat of Merengue and two as pop.
The list includes: “Bailando Contigo,” “En Esta Navidad,” “15 Primaveras,” “Dime Que Si” (remix featuring Ilegales), “Marido y Mujer” featuring León Yamil, “No Me Lo Creo” featuring Eddy Herrera, and “Deja Vu” (my favorite), originally interpreted by Shakira and Prince Royce as a bachata. “Deja Vu” was penned by Manny and his brother, Daniel Santacruz. “Bailando Contigo” and “En Esta Navidad” are the songs with pop versions. Musical arrangements are by Antonio González, Richy Rojas, and Edwin García.
.
Manny has won three Soberano prizes in the Dominican Republic and has been twice nominated to the Latin Grammy – the first time for the song “Deja Vu” as “Canción Tropical del Año,” and the second for his first album “Sobrenatural” in the “Mejor Álbum Fusión Tropical.”
