Univision’s PREMIO LO NUESTRO announced today that three-time nominated salsa sensation Víctor Manuelle will receive the Premio Lo Nuestro a la Trayectoria (Lifetime Achievement Award), and Puerto Rican Urban music pioneer Ivy Queen will be the recipient of this year’s Premio Lo Nuestro Legado Musical al Genero Urbano (Legacy of Urban Music Award). 

Victor Manuelle will be honored for three outstanding decades in Latin music, and  “The Queen of Reggaeton” will be recognized for inspiring women and paving the way for other female artists in a historically male dominated genre. This year, Ivy Queen will break another barrier by becoming the first woman in the history of the show to receive the prestigious recognition. 

PREMIO LO NUESTRO 2023 will air live from Miami-Dade Arena on Thursday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. CT, on Univision and will simulcast on Galavisión in the U.S. and Canal 5 in Mexico.
