The 2023 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival will be held over two weekends – April 28 – 30 and May 4 – 7, 2023. The festival will be a showcase of outstanding musical numbers, with a long list of performers that include Ed Sheeran, Lizzo, Santana, Farruko, Los Lobos, Angelique Kidjo, and many more.
Most excitingly, and speaking of the music we love, this year’s festival will celebrate the music of Puerto Rico “through colorful artist demonstrations, live music and dance showcases, parades, cultural displays, photo exhibits, and authentic cuisine” (nojazzfest.com).
From Puerto Rico, the first weekend of the festival will include the music of La Tribu de Abrante • Plena Libre • Ángel “Papote” Alvarado y el Grupo Esencia • Conjunto Típico Samaritano • Tambuyé • and the Vejigante Parade with Casa de la Plena Tito Matos.
On the second weekend, the list of Puerto Rican performers will include Pirulo y la Tribu • Atabal • La Raíz – Bomba Mayagüezana • Emplegoste • Tambuyé • and Vejigante Parade with Casa de la Plena Tito Matos.
Three and four-day weekend passes are now available at early-bird prices. You can even start a payment plan if purchasing before Feb. 22. VIP and travel packages are also available. Find ticket information here.
