“Amor o Brujeria” (Love or Witchcraft) is a new Salsa by Beto Collado, a Dominican singer now residing in New York.
The song tells of a man who has given himself over to a woman and no longer cares whether his feelings are true love or the result of witchcraft. “I love you and I don’t care if it’s love or witchcraft,” he sings throughout the song. This is an original work written by Leyder Beisan Macias Castillo, with musical direction by Misael Cuevas Batista.
“Amor o Brujeria” is the second single out of Collado’s upcoming album, entitled LLEGO LA SALSA. It has a good beat and I think it’ll be perfect on the dance floor. The song is now on most streaming platforms. It has been added to the VidaSalsera.com’s playlist on Spotify, which you can access from the right margin, or at the bottom, of this page.
I’m gonna be honest, I don’t love the video. He’s a singer, not an actor. Plus I don’t know why the “bruja” looks like a regular South Asian woman. But… I do want you to listen to the song, so here it is…
