The Grand Performances’ 2022 Concert Series is here!

Grand Performances (GP), the longest-running presenter of free concerts in downtown Los Angeles, has announced the line-up for its upcoming 2022 season.

GP’s 36th annual summer concert series features an exciting, eclectic line-up of global music, dance, poetry, theater and family programming, running every Saturday from June 4 to September 24 at California Plaza in the heart of DTLA.

With music from across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, GP’s 2022 Summer Season brings together a diverse mix of genres and generations, from cumbia to classical, funk to folkloric, jazz to jam bands, and everything in between.

June 4: COLA 2022 Artist Fellows

June 11: Aditya Prakash Ensemble and Nick Smith

June 18: Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band (2pm – 6pm) ***

July 2: A Midsummer Live Stream (Online Only) ***

July 9: Scary Pockets and Rozzi Crane

July 16: World Stage presents Black Nile and Linafornia

July 23: Pakistan Arts Council presents Ali Sethi

July 30: KCRW Summer Nights

August 6: Melissa Polinar

August 13: Extra Ancestral

August 20: Farhang Foundation

August 21: M&M Afro-Persian Experience (West Hollywood Plummer Park)

August 27: dublab presents Alice Coltrane: An Expansive Spirit

September 3: KCRW Summer Nights

September 10: The Fountain Theatre presents Citizen: An American Lyric

September 17: Cumbiatón

September 24: Renee Goust

All GP events are free, outdoors, and all-ages. The California Plaza is located at 350 S. Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90071. Concerts are from 6 pm to 10 pm, unless otherwise noted.
