Juan Luis Guerra has been busy on social media making noise for his ENTRE MAR Y PALMERAS special, which was recently released on HBO Max. 

ENTRE MAR Y PALMERAS is a concert that was recorded in Playa Esmeralda, Dominican Republic, on a gorgeous afternoon right before a colorful sunset. With his band – La 440 – literally placed between ocean and palm trees, Guerra performed some of his most beloved merengues, a medley of his most popular bachatas, a few songs from his recent show entitled PRIVE, and, of course, in Guerra’s true form, a pair of Christian merengues (“Para Ti” and “Las Avispas”).

It’s a lovely concert to be enjoyed at home, perhaps with dinner and wine? To see it, you need access to HBO Max, which starts at $10/month and that isn’t a bad investment right now considering that you’ll need it this weekend again for the release of IN THE HEIGHTS!
