Merenguero Eddy Herrera and songwriter and performer Daniel Santacruz won the Latin Grammy 2020 in the Best Tropical Album Merengue/Bachata category. According to Eddy, it was right after that win that they came up with the idea for their latest song, entitled “Mi Forma de Amar” (My way of loving).

The song was produced by Edwin Garcia, mixed by Allan Leschhorn, with a video directed by Luis Gomez that was recorded in Santiago de los Caballeros, in the Dominican Republic. (See below.)

Eddy Herrera’s real name is Eduardo Jose Herrera de los Rios. He was born in the city where the video was filmed. 

Daniel Santacruz was born in New Jersey and raised in the Dominican Republic by a Cuban father and Dominican mother.
