Daniel Santacruz released a new production (May 28, 2020) entitled LARIMAR, which is a collection of eleven tracks of Bachatas, Merengues, plus a few pop songs. One of them (“Mi Estrellita de Algodon”) is of particular importance to Santacruz, as it’s his first recording in the company of his daughter – Penelope Santacruz.
The name of the album took inspiration from a precious blue-hued stone only found in the Dominican Republic. The album was produced with the collaboration of Ambiorix Francisco, Richy Rojas, and Israel “Mayinbito” Palma. It’s basically a romantic album that is bound to be welcomed on the dance floor by Bachata dancers.
Daniel Santacruz is a prolific musician with 7 nominations to the Latin Grammy, 3 Premios Lo Nuestro, 3 Billboard de la Musica Latina awards, 12 Premios ASCAP, and 2 Soberano awards.
LARIMAR is now available on all digital platforms. The songs have also been added to the VidaSalsera.com playlist on Spotify, which you can access from the right margin of this page.
