Dominican singer, composer, and actress Sabrina Estepan presents a tribute to the great Whitney Houston with a Bachata version of the song “I Have Nothing,” originally composed by David W. Foster and Linda Thompson.
This production was led by Dominican musician and producer Joel Berrido, with musical direction by Yolkis Cabrera and Anewdis Graphs.
“Sabrina Estepan is one of the best young Jazz singers in the Dominican Republic,” said, in Spanish, Alexis Brugal, co-founder of La Oreja Media Group. “For that reason she was our first pick when thinking of a performer for this song.”
.
Estepan was born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, having studied voice performance in the island’s Conservatorio Nacional de Música. She has delved into various genres, including jazz, rock, disco, merengue, bossa nova, classical music, and bachata. She performs in five languages: Spanish, English, French, Italian, and Portuguese.
The song is now available on all digital platforms. It has also been added to the VidaSalsera playlist on Spotify, which you can access from the right margin of this page.
