Upcoming event – Luisito Quintero’s Tribute to Dimension Latina in East Los Angeles

When NAMM is in town, the Los Angeles Salseros get to enjoy the craft of the many musicians attending it. One such opportunity is set for Jan. 18, 2020, when Venezuelan percussionist Luisito Quintero, along with his Salsa Project, will perform a tribute to the music of Dimension Latina.

Dimension Latina is a major representative of Salsa from Venezuela, and the one in which Oscar D’Leon, today a Salsa icon, started.

The event will include a jamming session led by Peruvian (via Los Angeles) musician Henry Cabrera, as well as the recorded selections of DJ Jimmy Rumba. The planned schedule follows:

8:30 PM – Doors Open

9:00 PM – Music Set by Dj Jimmy Rumba

10:30 PM – Henry Cabrera Jammin Session

11:30 PM – Music Set by Dj Jimmy Rumba

Sunday, January 19, 2020 – 12:30 AM – Quintero’s Salsa Project “Tribute to Dimension Latina”

The event will be held at the Atlantis Banquet Hall, located at 3802 E Cesar E Chavez Ave, in Los Angeles, CA 90063.

Tickets will be $15 before 10 pm and $20 thereafter; cash only. If you need additional information, call Jimmy Rumba at  770.842.2904. You can also visit the event’s page on Facebook.
