On Wednesday night, the all-white-clad band performed songs that honored Cuban masters like Arsenio Rodriguez, Ibrahim Ferrer, and Bola de Nieve. They also delighted the audience with original numbers written by the talented band members, which, by the way, include Juan de Marcos’ wife and beautiful daughters. We heard Juan de Marcos sing to us in French, and enjoyed a Puerto Rican plena performed towards the end of the set.
